  29. A1200+/040 w/ HD but no Surfer pack - $750
  30. A1200+/040 no HD but w/ Surfer pack - $750

  33. However, if they do any marketing of this machine w/ the Surfer pack,
  34. especially if one of the motherboard updates is a fast serial port, I
  35. would say for them to try to market it at $650 or so and still under
  36. $700 for the full system with HD and Surfer pack.  Since a portion of
  37. the cost is due to it going to dealers... If they can sell these on
  38. QVC at these prices, they will still make their profit, and get many
  39. machines into the market, which will also benefit dealers who will be
  40. there to give support and sell other software and hardware, etc.  It
  41. would be a great system for primarily World Wide Web access, and for
  42. $700 for all that you get, many would sell.  Many keep throwing the
  43. comment to AT, "Are you hearing this, or aware that the Surfer bundle
  44. will sell well in the US?", but with no response.  We can only hope.
