- A1200+/040 no HD or Surfer pack ----- $650
- A1200+/040 w/ HD but no Surfer pack - $750

- However, if they do any marketing of this machine w/ the Surfer pack,
- especially if one of the motherboard updates is a fast serial port, I
- would say for them to try to market it at $650 or so and still under
- $700 for the full system with HD and Surfer pack. Since a portion of
- the cost is due to it going to dealers... If they can sell these on
- QVC at these prices, they will still make their profit, and get many
- machines into the market, which will also benefit dealers who will be
- there to give support and sell other software and hardware, etc. It
- would be a great system for primarily World Wide Web access, and for
- $700 for all that you get, many would sell. Many keep throwing the
- comment to AT, "Are you hearing this, or aware that the Surfer bundle
- will sell well in the US?", but with no response. We can only hope.
